SCIATICA

It is an inflammation of the sciatic nerve, causing a variety of symptoms such as pain and tingling or numbness in one or both legs. It can also be caused by other conditions such as lower lumbar subluxation, which is the displacement of one of the lower vertebrae of the spine. It can also be caused by lumbar inflammation, bulging discs or hernias and muscle spasms. Dr. Quintana can eliminate them!

Our center’s treatment of sciatica consists of chiropractic manipulation and mechanical traction to try to separate lumbar vertebrae and discs, manual massages, physical therapy, ergonomic changes and improvements to help reduce the likelihood of exacerbation,and finally the patient undergoes a period of rehabilitation exercises.
